Coupon codes and cashback: compare the final price

A coupon can lower your price but affect cashback eligibility. Choose the best documented final price instead of collecting every available promotion.

Check the permitted coupon list

Read the store’s portal exclusions and see whether the code is explicitly allowed. A working checkout code does not prove that the cashback partner accepts it. Save both the coupon conditions and the cashback conditions.

Compare two outcomes

Calculate the price with the coupon and the price with eligible cashback. If they cannot combine, choose the better route for your order. Use the reduced eligible subtotal when a permitted coupon lowers the amount on which cashback is calculated.

Keep the shopping route clean

Late coupon extensions or another portal activation can change attribution. Decide your route before checkout. If a transaction later becomes ineligible, compare the applied code with your saved exclusions before submitting a claim.

WORKED EXAMPLE

Illustration: a $20 coupon on a $100 order saves more than 10% cashback alone. If both are allowed and the rebate applies to the $80 subtotal, total savings would be $28.

Explore saved examples

Catalogue examples, not verified current payout promises. Confirm the reward and full conditions in your account.
