Visits and offer clicks

We keep basic site activity statistics, including pages visited, traffic sources and offer-link clicks, to improve the guide. Our own statistics use a browser identifier; they do not ask for your name or email.

Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement run only when you choose “Allow measurement.” They use cookies to measure visits, traffic sources, ad performance and interactions such as opening a guide or clicking an offer. Ad click identifiers may be used to connect a visit to an advertisement. Personalized advertising is disabled. We do not send support messages, comment text, names or email addresses to these Google tags.

You can change your choice using “Measurement preferences” at the bottom of any public page. Choosing “No thanks” stops further Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement in this browser. Previously collected data is not automatically erased.

Forms and comments

Support requests are saved in our private dashboard and sent through Formspree. Deal-alert signup stores the email address you provide. Comments and replies appear publicly after approval; avoid posting private information.

Referral links

Offer links take you to other websites, which have their own privacy rules. We may earn a commission when you use them.

Optional push notifications

If you enable offer alerts, we store your browser’s push subscription, encryption keys and selected alert types so we can deliver notifications to that device. No email is required. The notification is encrypted before being sent through your browser’s push provider. You can turn off alerts and remove your subscription at Offer alerts. Expired subscriptions are removed when the push provider reports that they are no longer valid.
